“The Table Archive”
Ceremic Research
Each piece is shaped with the idea that imperfection holds memory. The shapes are soft, organic, colours that feel like they belong to the body more than the table. No two pieces are identical; each carries the tremble of being formed. In my work, the dinner table is a recurring site. Not for eating alone, and not for conversation alone—but as a place where the self meets others in subtle rituals. The passing of a cup, the sound of a spoon, the vulnerability of sharing space. A kind of domestic stage for emotional presence.
This ceremic set invites slowness. It requires care. It allows the kind of connection that is felt rather than spoken. This set continues my exploration of materials as emotional language. These ceramics speak to the quiet depth of being seen—without having to explain.
STILL IN PROGRESS

“Untitled Table Series”
Commissioned by Breach Magazine
Photographed in New York City 2023
During my time in New York, I became quietly obsessed with groups at parties, around dinner tables. Maybe it was the loneliness. Or maybe the sense of not fitting in made me more attuned to moments I wasn’t part of. Observation became a form of presence.
This photo series, shot for Breach Magazine (of James Dylan and Michael Avedon), presents three different table settings—each one empty, yet saturated with narrative. The objects remain, the people do not. What’s left is a residue. Each table is a constructed absence filled with unspoken story.
